GOP House Parties are informal, grassroots "parties" attended by supporters of President Bush with virtually no cost to the host or those in attendance and are not official Republican National Committee events.

To comply with federal law, GOP House Parties hosted at a person's home must be paid for by the person hosting the event and the person cannot spend more than a total of $2,000 on in-home GOP House Parties .

You may not charge admission of request donations in order to attend.

Individuals hosting a GOP House Party may not accept any contributions other than those made through their MyGOP site.

Contributions are not tax deductible as charitable contributions.
