Good evening—
In honor of National American Beer Day, folks in the beer state will be Drinking Wisconsinbly -- at a higher than normal cost-- thanks to Joe Biden.
Crushing a cold one is more expensive—due to inflation and supply chain challenges. Breweries are facing increased cost of production from fuel , carbon emissions, shortage of cans, and packaging materials . The average price of a beer can has risen about 15 cents. Naturally, the cost of inflation will hit the pocketbooks of Wisconsinites at the bar.
As the Badger State is home to more bars per capita than grocery stores, it is devastating to see increased beer prices. While Wisconsinites love supporting their local bars, bar owners are having to increase their prices due to supply chain bottleneck issues.
The Bottom Line: As U.S. costs of production increase, it means one horrifying thing for bars and Wisconsinites—more money out of their pocket to pay for Wisconsinites true-loves, beers and bars. Biden has ruined all Wisconsinites’ (National American Beer) day.
